Apéro RH, co-organized by SDC District Central and Wavency, brought together human resources professionals, managers, and entrepreneurs around a shared goal: collectively reflecting on the best ways to strengthen employer branding, attract talent, and foster employee retention in a context of labor shortages.

In a friendly, exchange-driven atmosphere, participants were invited to question their employer image, explore strategies to stand out, and consider the importance of building a reputation with which candidates can truly identify. The event provided an overview of current trends in recruitment, employee experience, and HR marketing, while also offering concrete and actionable insights.

Three conferences shaped the afternoon and fueled reflection:

  • Creating a Memorable Onboarding Experience, presented by Maud Laliberté (Talent IQ), highlighting the importance of a structured and engaging onboarding journey.

  • The Hidden Dangers of Social Media in the Workplace, led by Lina Aristeo (Plume RH), shedding light on risks as well as best practices to adopt.

  • Bringing Employer Branding to Life in a Competitive Industry, presented by Véronique Charest and Sam Morin (PCI Automatisation), offering a practical perspective grounded in real-world experience.

A panel discussion, moderated by Maude Belval, followed in a relaxed informal setting, allowing for deeper conversations. Panelists — Marco Prud’Homme (Nolinor), Marie-Josée Guilbault (PixMob), and Catherine Lanoix-Couture (Groupe Leclerc) — shared their experiences, challenges, and inspiring practices, encouraging open and honest exchanges with the audience.

L’Apéro RH concluded with a friendly networking session, giving participants the opportunity to continue conversations, build new connections, and strengthen the HR community within District Central. A big thank you to the speakers, panelists, partners, and everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this edition.
