INFINITIES
Chabanel Sector
Objectives
What if a construction site became an opportunity for creation?
Mission
Designed by Marlon Kroll, Infinities transforms a 120-foot-long construction hoarding on Meilleur Street into a vibrant work of art, replacing visual clutter with a bold aesthetic statement. The initiative enhances the experience for passersby, workers, and residents alike, while reinforcing District Central’s identity as a creative territory in transition.
The work features eight iterations of a shared motif, creating a dialogue through form, positioning, and distinct color palettes. Evoking themes of the sublime and cyclicity, Infinities imagines each colorful composition as a portal, leaving the open spaces to be interpreted by the imagination of every viewer.

Marlon Kroll
Marlon Kroll, a Montreal-based artist, explores perception, fiction, and the supernatural through his work. As the son of a psychic medium, he is captivated by how immanence, heritage, enchantment, and myth come to life through the creative act. His practice—centered on sculpture, site-specific installations, drawing, and ephemeral objects—allows him to reimagine the world. By blending science and folklore, he envisions spiritual and material possibilities that challenge the nature of our current existence.
