In Pictures: Candidate Fair April 3, 2024
The Candidate Fair, organized by SDC District Central, brought together local businesses and employability organizations from Ahuntsic–Cartierville in a collaborative, reverse-format event. This approach allowed employers from District Central to visit the organizations’ booths, encouraging direct and practical discussions about their missions, services, and the candidate profiles available.
The event offered a unique opportunity to bring together, in one place, a wide range of key employability stakeholders, facilitating meaningful connections between businesses and community resources. Participants were able to gain a better understanding of the services available and identify concrete solutions to support their recruitment needs.
The program also included a conference entitled Navigating Generational Diversity: Recruitment and Management, which equipped employers with valuable tools to better address this current challenge in the labor market.
We would like to highlight the valuable participation of the following organizations, whose contributions helped make the event a success:
-
AIM CROIT
-
Bois Urbain
-
Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Ahuntsic–Bordeaux-Cartierville
-
La Corbeille
-
Objectif Emploi
-
