La Prairie Louvain, the flourishing origins of a project

Phase 1 of District Central’s Signature Intervention Plan was deployed in the summer of 2023.

10,000 sunflowers turned towards the future to celebrate the monumentality of the neighbourhood, embellishing a space for the community, and raising the area’s profile on the Montreal scene. This is a project characterised by biodiversity and a commitment to the circular economy.

Discover the roots of this flourishing project, from concept to production.

La Prairie Louvain is an initiative of the SDC District Central, made possible by the expertise of local businesses.
