In Pictures : District Central 5 à 7 May 28

On May 28, nearly 130 people gathered at Esplanade Louvain for the District Central 5 à 7 - Summer Starts Here.
With cocktails in hand and the sun shining brightly, there was plenty to talk about in a convivial atmosphere, to the rhythms of DJ SantoFuego and delicious bites served up by Tête Carrée. The evening also marked the launch of our summer program, and provided a preview of the Terrasse Commune evenings, which will enliven Esplanade Louvain all summer long.
One of the evening's highlights was undoubtedly the tribute paid to Delia De Gasperis, who served as president of the SDC District Central board of directors for six years. Since April 2019, Delia has accompanied, with dedication and sensitivity, the efforts to reposition District Central on the Montreal scene. Her emotional bond with the area is rooted in the history of her mother, a seamstress by trade, who worked on Chabanel Street for over 2 decades. Her sincere commitment has helped shape an essential chapter of District Central, imbued with projects, structure and hope.
Thank you to all the members and partners who attended and brought District Central to life.
